We are WUNDERWALD, a branding agency based in Amsterdam.
We offer services in branding concepts, art direction and graphic design.
Our work includes the creation of logos, websites, packaging, illustrations, books, or even whole interiors when it suits your brand experience.
We love to work for ethically-driven organizations & people who like to make a positive and durable contribution to our society.
How we work
Together we uncover the essence of your brand. From this point we determine the foundation in both content and form. We help you to focus on your brand story and shape it. Together we answer the question of who you are and why you’re doing what you’re doing. In this way we put together the base for an unique story and bring your brand to life.
Wunderwald is a member of the Association of Dutch Designers (BNO), the professional association for designers and design agencies in the Netherlands.
If you have built castles in the air, your work need not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them – Henry David Thoreau, Walden – Or, Life in the Woods.
WUNDERWALD is a place where make-believe really happens. In the pursuit of the perfect image, we listen, we tell stories, we dream & we create. We want to put foundations under the castles we have built in the sky.
In a time when enchantment is in short supply, WUNDERWALD reminds you to keep exploring the unexpected. Or at least to pause: to see the odds, to feel the wonderment of creation.
While deeply respecting craftsmanship, we love to create and make dreams come to live. It is all out there, you just have to believe the WUNDERS!

After graduating the Hallo Academy for applied creativity, Baukje Stamm started with her graphic design studio BAU+MM in 2011, before establishing Wunderwald. She is trained as an identity concepter and art director. Her graphic work is a crossover between logo design and illustrations for identity styles – often a mix of naive drawings, soft colors and natural forms. She is highly aware of the importance of craftmanship. She loves to learn from the old hands in the trade, whether in making books or printing techniques. She is a motivator and an enthusiastic initiator. By being a quick thinker, she is able to make great leaps in puting a project together.
Daan knew he needed something to use his creativity. During his childhood he spend a lot of time drawing and – a little bit later – taking photographs and playing around with a camera. After living in Berlin for a couple of months, Daan teamed up with Baukje and started working on their company Wunderwald. Daan is a designer with a minimal and basic style who uses a lot of straight lines in combination with playful illustration. He knows how to code websites and to work with different forms of CMS systems.
